Inventory of the Harry Shultz Vandiver Papers: 1904-1963

The Harry Shultz Vandiver Papers (1904-1963) contain scholarly mathematical articles published in America and abroad. Included among these are leading contributions on the history of mathematics, as well as the laws of reciprocity, cyclotomic and relative Abelian algebraic fields, and constructive algebraic theories. Other articles contribute to the fields of number theory, finite algebras, fields, rings, and groups. Also included is Fermat's Last Theorem, the article which established Vandiver's international reputation and brought him the prestigious Frank Cole Prize.
